Multiple photos
Our pet artists can work from several photographs, omit details that you don’t want to have painted into your portrait and change the background to enhance and make your dog’s portrait really special. If you’re looking to commission a portrait for a loved one we also offer Gift Vouchers so they can choose the photo(s) that they want their dog portrait to be based upon. We’re a friendly bunch so if you have any questions please just get in touch
Framing Service
We do offer a full framing service too. All frames are custom made so if you have a style or colour in mind for your frame please let us know

Free dog art advice
Dog Artists have hand-painted so many wonderful dog portraits and are happy to offer advice on the most suitable photo to base your dog’s portrait on and dimensions for your dog’s portrait. Please feel free to read the comments that other dog owners have said about their dog’s oil painting too. If you’re thinking of commissioning a dog portrait as a gift then we can also offer you gift vouchers too!

Our History
Dog Artists was founded in 2007 in London by Anouska and Tim Bertram, born from their shared love of dogs and fine art. What started as a small passion project has since grown into an online art studio specialising exclusively in custom dog portraits. Today, Dog Artists is home to a talented team of eight portrait artists, each dedicated to capturing the unique character and personality of dogs through beautifully hand-painted works of art. Our portraits have been featured in various advertising and marketing campaigns, including Go Compare’s “Dog Hero” campaign, and have even appeared on the popular TV show Embarrassing Pets. With a strong focus on quality and attention to detail, Dog Artists has become a trusted destination for pet owners looking to immortalise their beloved companions in timeless, bespoke artwork.
